Chief Master Sergeant Carlos L. Bush

Chief Master Sergeant Carlos L. Bush is the Superintendent of the Business and Enterprise Systems Directorate, Maxwell Air Force Base, Gunter Annex, Alabama. He serves as the principle senior enlisted leader and advisor to the Program Executive Officer on all matters influencing the health, morale, welfare, training, readiness, professional development, quality of life and effective utilization of more than 2,100 military and civilian employees. He supports Air Force Life Cycle Management Center-Gunter and personnel at four bases throughout the United States with a total funding of $1.025 billion. The organization acquires, operates, and sustains operational support information technology systems for the Air Force and the Department of Defense.

Chief Bush entered the Air Force in December of 1992. His background spans in various communication information systems duties at squadron, group and major command levels. Chief Bush’s assignment history consists of bases in Georgia, Oklahoma, New Jersey, Virginia and Illinois. He has served overseas in South America, Turkey, Japan, Korea, Germany and completed numerous deployments in support of Operations PROVIDE COMFORT, SOUTHERN WATCH, ALLIED FORCE, NOBLE EAGLE, IRAQI FREEDOM and ENDURING FREEDOM. Prior to his current assignment, Chief Bush was the Operations Division Superintendent and Cyberspace Support (3D0XX & 3D1XX) Functional Manager, Business and Enterprise Systems Directorate & Program Executive Office, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Maxwell Air Force Base-Gunter Annex, Alabama.
