In March 2023, Major General Linda Hurry, Director of Logistics, Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics, Engineering, and Force protection, and Richard Aldridge, then the Program Executive Officer for the Business and Enterprise Systems Directorate, joined forces and established a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) defining the roles, responsibilities, and engagement between the two organizations.

The goal of the MOU is to establish a strategic partnership between two organizations with Tesseract, the Air Force Office for Logistics Innovation, leveraging BESPIN’s Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline to deliver robust and secure capabilities to the warfighter at the speed of relevance in support of Airman innovation.

These two innovative organizations are operationalizing General Charles ‘CQ’ Brown Jr’s words: “Success takes help. Failure you can do alone. In order to be successful, we’ve got to work together. We’ve got to make sure we have the right mix of capabilities and capacity as an Air Force and as a joint team to be successful.”

Tesseract is leading the charge to bring innovative maintenance and logistics ideas into reality by enabling the Air Force to meet its new sustainment strategy. Tesseract is continuously seeking resources that will allow them to bring Airman-generated software solutions more rapidly into production to improve mission outcomes.

BESPIN is a software solution center chartered to build the Air Force Mobile Center of Excellence and to scale Cloud One and mobile application development across the Air Force and Department of Defense. BESPIN’s established automated procedures and CI/CD pipeline are capable of building, securing, and deploying mobile and web applications under a continuous Authority to Operate.

By partnering together, BESPIN and Tesseract can deliver A4 (Logistics) sponsored capabilities into operations at an enterprise scale.
