Contracting Information Technology (CON-IT) is a U.S. Air Force contract writing system that provides contracting personnel a single system to support world-wide base operations, logistics, contingency, science and technology, and weapons systems contracting.

It interfaces with Federal, Department of Defense, and Air Force procurement systems and is the modernized solution that consolidates legacy contract writing and management systems.

CON-IT is currently used by nearly two-thirds of Air Force contracting personnel. As CON-IT continues to deploy capabilities, specifically weapon system contracting capabilities, user growth and demand will continue to rise. As such, the Business and Enterprise Systems Mission Support Systems Division is proud to announce that CON-IT has migrated its production environment to the Air Force’s Cloud One as of May 21, 2024.

Originally housed on the United States Department of Agriculture’s Data Center Hosting Services, CON-IT’s continually expanding user base, now over 6,000 users, and the need to provide additional capabilities to the war fighter, requires CON-IT’s hosting environment to continue to handle the ongoing demand of contracting actions in a timely manner.

This will allow CON-IT to continue to expand vital capabilities to the user community and allow continued user growth without impacting CON-IT’s performance that the userbase has come to expect.

Additionally, migrating to Cloud One allows opportunities for hosting costs savings.

Any Air Force organization interested in using CON-IT should reach out to the CON-IT Help Desk at (937) 713-9292 or AFLCMC.CON-IT.HelpDesk@us.af.mil.
