Developed by the Business and Enterprise Systems Enterprise Logistics Systems Division, MARKS manages over $1.4 billion in the movement of household goods, and 30 million associated documents annually.
These upgrades directly benefit over 1,000 Traffic Management Specialists at 121 base-level Personal Property Processing Offices and four regional Joint Personal Property Shipping Offices (JPPSOs). Here's how the latest features are making a difference:
Automation Eliminates Bottlenecks, Boosts Efficiency:
- Automated User Account Management: Streamlined account oversight eliminates manual processes, reducing processing time by 50 percent and freeing the Program Management Office (PMO) to focus on mission-critical tasks.
- Email Integration for Seamless Data Flow: Direct import of move data and documents from emails eliminates manual data entry, saving JPPSOs an estimated 450 hours annually and minimizing errors.
Proactive Approach Empowers Users, Reduces Downtime:
- Account Lock Notifications: Automated email notifications before account lockouts empower users to maintain access, saving the PMO 100 hours and users across all sites an additional 350 hours annually.
